I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support, help guidance and vigilance on the recent sale of our property.
When we closed last Friday as you said it was’ bitter sweet news’, but you took most of the bitterness out of it for us. Until we purchased the house a few years ago I had always wondered why people said that we the Brits and Americans were divided by a common language. Well once I started doing business in the states it became more than clear. Dealing with banks, management companies, insurance providers and realtors was nothing less than hard work from day one. Emails that were ignored or acknowledged, but not actually answered, holding systems on phones which took an eternity to be answered, but with no straight answers and face-to-face consultations that still yielded no results, but you made, what could have been a very stressful process, go by almost unnoticed.
Like us, I am sure many more of your clients are finding themselves in negative equity with increasingly prohibitive running costs and reduced rents, but a short sale on your recommendation, was the answer. For anyone considering a short sale I would highly recommend you. As unlike my previous experiences you answered my emails immediately, fully explained the process and did all the liaising with the bank, my management company and the closing company on my behalf.
I was particularly heartened when you were unable to access my property due to the management company, but when I apologised you said ‘no need to apologise, we are a team’ At this point I actually felt someone cared.
No-one wants to be in this position, but if they are unfortunate to find that they are at least they can be assured you will make this final passage as painless as possible.
